Ushers

The Ushers welcome parishioners and guests and help with seating, gathering and presenting the offerings of the people at the altar, assisting with Holy Communion, and other duties as required. Ushers also assist with giving out our hearing assisted headphones and give assistance to ill or disabled individuals until trained medical help arrives.

Welcoming and extending hospitality, warmth, and friendliness of Saint Raphael Church to all who gather for worship is the special calling of the Greeters.

Greeting and ushering present an opportunity for lay people to do real evangelizing work among their own community. Ushers and Greeters serve at all regular Masses and are of special importance at special Feasts and Celebrations.
